    can you tell me if this Motor is 115 at the prop or at the crank. i think some time around 85/86 motors were marked at the prop, but i dont know when Mariner did it.

    hey all, got this motor, JUST GOT IT, purchased it with a boat used. was told it was all ok. after a week of fishing in Canada with it, we picked it up on the way there. back home i drained the lower unit only to find water(clear) and some oil. on the plug was some shavings(metal). not very much...

    Cowling decals for a 67 9.5 hp johnson

    any idea where i can get some new decals? i need to repaint the cowling, and would like to have new decals, rather than tape off old ones.

    1967 Johnson 9.5 hp

    Hey Gurus, i ran this motor and felt where the thermostat is, and it felt hot, running up the RPMS, actually slowed water comming out and at a low RPM, the water was hot...so i shut her down. i just replaced the impeller and put it backk together, now no matter at what rpm i get good cool...

    Converting a Johnson 9.9 to a 15 hp

    i was told that this could happen by changing the carburetion on the motor. <br /><br />can anyone give me informnation on this please? the 9.9 i have is a 74 year. and if this is possible where might i find the parts. id like to do this myself if possible.<br />Thak you
