Motor starts great after pumping the primer ball. Once the VST runs out of fuel the motor stalls.
Had my friend turn on the start switch and check the high pressure pump and the pump is running.
Tried the test several time with the low pressure pump and the pump is not working at all...
I like to use my boat to go scuba diving and would like to get some hot water from it after a dive in the cold so cal waters. I have a f200 and I know that some of my buddies are able to by pass some hoses in there Honda's to get hot water once the motor is run for a while.

When out on the boat today to show it off to my mom. We took off from the local harbor and cruised around for a while. Boat was idling great, and then all of a sudden the ignitions started to skip. Thought it was a fuel problem, so rush back to the back of the boat to pump the fuel primer...
Just hooked up my computer to the engine and this is what I got. Looks like it is alitle hot?? What do you guys think??

I have a f200, I just got a computer on it and read the ecm.
It says it has total hours of 871.
621 hours are spent doing 1000 or less. How fast do you think the boat was going??? Do you think it was all trolling?? or just idling hours?? I know that at crusing it had 75 hours at 3000 to 4000...
I have been slowly rebuilding my f200txr that i purchased off ebay. Over all I could only find new oem factory parts for this motor since I have started rebuilding it. Also Couldn't find any used parts either. Wow, yamaha has a hold on us. We I had to replace the rod. And on the rod is marked...

I have purchased a Yamaha f200 and am currently rebuilding it. The cause of the rebuild is the old owner pumped sand into the block and over heated it. So one of the valves when out..
Was just curious to see how many hours people are getting.

Pulled the sparkplugs off my motor day to find that on of my sparkplugs are fried. So what do you think could be wrong with the cylinder? Do you think I will need a valve job and to have the cylinder resleeved?
Also had anyone else ever had this problem??

I have a 225txcub. Would like to take off the old VRO fuel pump and replace it with a old type pump. Can this be done? If so what fuel pump model and type should I use? Also if you have done this before how was the proformance of the engine once you replaced it?

Well for all you that have been following my threads, I have been having major problems with my engine. Tried to take it out X-mas eve, and engine would not idle.
I have replaced all the ignitions and tested weeks ago and all is working. So retested and all is still...
Just wanted to know if I by pass the Shift Interrupt Switch wires and just hook up yellow/black wire. Will it hurt anything? I will put the switch out completely. It shifts in and out of gear like glass.
