    Suzuki 15hp vs Yamaha 9.9

    Hello, I have an opportunity to upgrade my current 2016 Yamaha 9.9 to a 2015 Suzuki 15hp EFI. Is this worth the upgrade? I would love a bit more power/speed, but I am HUGE on reliability and the Yamaha has not had any issues. Is this worth it? what are your thoughts?

    Outboard loud when pulling

    Hi all, I have a honda 8hp on an aluminum boat, was pulling my brother on a surfboard behind the boat with no issues, however, the engine was making extra noise very loud. Is this me hearing the exhaust bc the boat is so stern heavy? Is this stressing my motor?

    What kind/manufacturer boat is this?

    No, all I got was a bill of sale and the info on there says "14' aluminum boat with trailer" and has the serial of the outboard.

    I have looked all around and cant find any numbers, was told it is from the 60s or 70s if you have any info please let me know!
