Im replacing the plugs in my 1978 mercury 1400, it has Champion L76V's in now, but I have for some reason 3 new ngk buhxw-1's laying around, so I would just have to buy three more. Iv'e been searching old threads & came away with these plugs run a little hot? Will these work for me? Thanks alot!

Starters are expensive!!! I have a Early 90's johnson non vro model 60hp with a weak starter. I found a used starter at a good buy off a 1970s johnson 60 hp motor model # 60esl70b. I compared the pic & it looks like it will fit mounts & power wire. Does anyone know if it will work? Thanks a bunch!
