I have an 1985 35 hp merc. Started boat at river and went to back off trailer and it stalled. After a couple trys got boat off then put in forward stalled again. Kept doing this started checking things and noticed their was no exhaust coming from prop.This was only thing I could find wrong. So...
I looking at buying a boat that has this problem. Just wondering if it would be worth it. On package deal its a good price. Thing is it will put me close to budget with not much left over for repairs.So is this an exspensive fix? Should I just keep looking for something else?
New to boats and motors. I have a 81 25 hp mercury. The problem is when I started it today there was no water coming out of the exit tube.I didn't let it run long.So was water to come out immediatley or is there a thermostat?I removed the hose to see if it was plugged but it was clear.
