Problem resurfaced. I have no spark.
Ran motor for 15-20 minutes at various speeds. Idle was smooth and increase throttle was not smooth. Took it to lake to see if there was a difference when in the water instead of on hose or in barrel.

I had a bulb collapse and the problem was two-fold. 1, the bulb was breaking down and was too flimsy. 2, the tank cap vent didn't work and I unscrewed the cap a bit and it worked fine from then on. I have since replaced the bulb and all lines and installed a new vented cap.

Look on the side of your control lever where it pivots to go forward and back. There should be a rubber "plate" that covers a button that releases the gear linkage and allows you to advance throttle in neutral. Just remember not to rev it up too far in neutral.
Okay, it looks like I will be pulling all 3 carbs and cleaning them, then putting new jets, floats, gaskets, etc...
I will order them tonight. If anyone thinks of additional stuff I should do please give me a clue.
