    volvo 145A carb ?

    Am working on a mid seventies Volvo 145A with a 250 outdrive. When hot will not start easily. If you wait a little it will fire up, but must hold throttle wide open and massage as it starts to fire. It is a twin carb model. Hear this is common with these. What is the remedy?

    volvo 280 bellows replacement tip

    It is very hard to get the hose clamps tight in the correct place for the bellows. I found today that a small air ratchet with a 5/16" socket gets right into the tight space and tightens the hose clamp. Be careful not to over tighten. Works great. :)

    18' Campion with a new 350hp 383 sbc. Previous single prop was a 14x21 with a 350 sbc, so I don't have numbers for the new engine. I am converting my volvo 280 to a duo prop. Which prop should I get. Here is a pic of the boat.

    Can anyone post exactly WHICH lower units are capable to be bolted and used on an AQ 280/290 series drive? More specifically.... which outdrive years and models.
