    Yamaha plug wire

    If when touching a plug wire, you receive a shock, will this cause the motor to go to a "safe mode" and not go past a speed of 2200 rpms?? It runs excellent at the 2200 rpms, but will not go to top plane speed. Will a bad plug wire cause this??
