    need to know what control box to get

    i have a 25hp merc outboard model #1025311cd. the control boxes are 881170a3 and 881170a5. it said the a5 is the right one but the harness that goes to the engine is a female plug. i need a male plug. the a3 has a male end but is made for everything but 20 AND 25HP. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHICH IS RIGHT.

    can't figure out lean or rich on a 69 chrysler 55hp
