    evinrude proper voltage

    I have new batteries and a new regulator. According to some of my previous posts and replies (Thanks to all) my stator is ok too. It puts out < 20 VAC and 9 amps at WOT. No loose magnets in flywheel either.<br />My voltmeter, however, continues to read 12.4V - 12.6V. Is this OK? Last year...

    batteries won't charge - no voltage present

    I have replaced the regulator, and powerpack(s). I have tested the stator and it's ok. Just can't figure out why the batteries (brand new) will not charge. No loose magnets in flywheel (internal). Stator magnets are clean. Wires look ok. Reading on voltmeter is 12.4 and batteries are 12.4...
