i have an 83 mercury 2 stroke 35. Im looking the serial number on it and on the plate it says serial number A122137 im looking at getting parts for it on usboatersupply.com and i cant find matching serial #. Any help would be appreciated
i just got my boat back from the shop. They put a new water pump in and rebuilt and cleaned the carburator and put a new diaphram in the fuel pump. When i try to start the boat it wont turn over. I sprayed some starter fluid in it and it will turn over and run for a second or two then cut off...
when i start the motor water doesnt circulate through the pump im guessing. How hard is it to replace the water pump, or how much would it cost to have someone fix it.
