EDIT I was catfishing last night and I believe my water pump went out. Since it was dark I did not realize it until the motor cut off and it acts like it is locked up. Also if anybody has any other ideas on what may be wrong please let me know. Thanks

I have a 1996 Mercury 60 hp outboard. It revs up fine as long as it is in nuetral however as soon as I put it in gear the motor bogs down as though it is in a bind or not getting enough fuel. This happened shortly after my brother mixed oil with the gas, this would not be such a bad thing...
