    difficult to start after warm up

    I have a 1995 25h.p. Rude electric start that starts and runs fine first thing when its cold.I run across the lake and kill it and let it sit for awhile and it is very difficult to restart.It wants to start but about the time it fires off it dies or the starter "kicks out".I worked on it about...

    the previous owner told me it was a 30 the registration says 25 there is no model number anywhere the only # i have found is on the welch plug and it is g3004938 does this tell anyone anything i really not sure what year model it is

    over heat alarm?????

    my 1995 30 hp evinrude has a round plastic electrical part on the front of the moter below the start button what is this :confused:

    what in the heck is it

    on my 1995 30hp rude there is somthing electrical on the front of the moter under the start button it looks almost like a overheat alarm or something ididnt know they put those on the smaller engines is this what it is :confused:

    what did i do wrong

    i put a new water pump on my 1995 30 hp rude and now i have water coming out of the shaft right above the lower mtr mount and inside the cowling below the lower cylinder when i hook the muffs on it

    water leak

    i have a 1995 30 hp evinrude that i just changed the h2o pump imp. on i have water leaking from a hole on the back side of the mtr shaft above the lower mtr mount and inside the cowling on the back of the mtr below the lower cylinder :confused: thanks the draketaker
