    help!!!! 78' johnson 70hp

    engine starts perfect, runs fine low and high speed but when i stop, sit for a while it won't fire at all. Is it my carbs? time to rebuild or what? I despiritly need my boat this weekend!

    won't start any more

    i have a '78 johnson 70 hp. engine ran decent all summer, so far.but since yesterday it doesn't turn over and gas is all in the water with bubbles of black oil or grease flowting up from the prop. i had the same thing happen last year. the power pack was replaced and got the lower unit seals...

    fuel pump

    I have a 70 hp johnson. Behind the fuel pump there is a hole and there is fuel spitting out. Is there something wrong with the pump?
