    Need help troublsehooting no power to instrument panel. Has power to trim and can start motor, but not to gas, rpm, volts gauges

    I traced the neg wire from battery to fuse panel block and it is powering my cig lighter, radio and fish finder. So it got me confused why it is not powering the other gauges. Is there a separate neg wire that is going to my gauges?

    alldodge - the inline fuse on the Red/purple wire, where does that wire connect to in the fuse panel? Do you just plug it in any + fuse box?
