    Johnson 15 lower unit corrosion, I want to cry!

    Went to replace the impeller with a water pump rebuild kit only to find serious corrosion in the lower unit where the impeller sits. I am sick to my stomach right now!! I also just watched a used lower unit go on ebay for $283.95cdn with 58 bids!! WOW

    CHRYSLER 105hp parts?

    105 chrysler found today

    Okay, its not running, has a hole in one cylinder, and is seized up. Otherwise its almost complete, missing the prop. It is a 105HP Magnapower Ignition mod:1057BE SER1126 Made in Sarnia Ont. It has the dist, starter and coil powerpack? What year would it be?TIA Larry

    Help! need sediment bowl for a West bend outboard

    I am finally getting around to working on this little WestBend and the sediment bowl is missing! It was replaced with a piece of pipe with the end welded over and a piece of rubber for a gasket!!     71 johnson 9.5 teeth stripped on pull starter!

    Was wondering if the toothed gear for the pull start is still available? The one on mine has four teeth gone and it will skip when trying to start it. TIA<br />Larry

    Free motors Today!!

    I was out driving this morning and stopped at a neighbors about 3 miles away, picked up 2 outboards, 2 pushmowers and a rototiller for free! Anyway the motors are Johnson 9.5 ser: 9R 71R model:C15201<br />and an old Westbend ser:287 model:150202, now can anybody tell me what years these motors...

    Johnson 9.9 and 15 parts interchange?

    My 15hp is an 1989 and the 9.9 is an 84'. What is the pysical differences between them and what parts will interchange? I have a guy interested in the 9.9 for parts but I won't let it go if most parts will change up. TIA<br />Larry

    Johnson 15hp carb settings?

    What should the lean/rich adjustment be for this motor. I was out for a little sail and it didn't seem to pulling right and I don't want to harm the engine.<br />Larry
