Does anybody know what the engine cylinder compression should be in a 150/HP Evinrude V6 motor, and would the motor have to be warm to do a compression test?
Need to know where to get a diagram so i can connect a new rpm gauge. From my control box there are two purple wires which are both hot and two black wires and one grey wire. It's a 1989 OMC control box with a key on the back side of it.
While changing an RPM gauge the hot and the negative lead shorted against each other and I now have no power to the ignition switch. I cant find a fuse or anything which will allow 12 volt power to the ignition switch. Evinrude V6 1989 outboard. any clues where to look?
