    Compression Check on Outboards

    I was told you should put the spark plugs back into the wires after removal to prevent damaging the coils. Is this the right way to do the check?

    Starter wont engage on 93 Merc 200 Offshore

    Batteries tested good under load. Starter just spins without going up to engage flywheel.
