Hay everyone, Ive got a 1975 4hp evinrude that wont start. Sometimes when I pull the cord it "pops". please tell me how I can get it going again. thanks.
I have an old (probably 70's model) 4hp evinrude 2 stroke. I can get it started pretty easily with the choke out (it doesnt even kick-over with the choke in) but almost instantly it just cuts out. I think it has something to do with the carberator. I got some 'grit' out of there, but it still...
