I have a 93 Evinrude 90.I here horror stories about the VRO failing and have decided to disconnect it.I would like to know how to do this. Also I would like to know what the four wires going to the VRO do(black,tan,grey,purple).
I have a 1993 Evinrude 90.<br />The warning horn does not come on when I turn the ignition on but works fine when I short the tan wire going to the temp. sensor.
