    older 1950's evinrude fleetwin? 7.5 hp

    hi, i have a older 1950 something evinrude fleetwin( i think) engine. it shifts, and it runs and starts nicly. the serial # is 7518-39034 , and i was wonderin if i can get a date for it, maby a manual, and a possible price... thanks<br /><br />Btw, it has excellent compression :)

    evinrude fleetwin 7.5 1955 oil questions

    Hi, i have a 1955 fleewtin 7.5, and on the iside of the cover it says use 1/2 pint of oil to every gal or 16to 1 ratio. i think that is kinda rich on the oil side, and also scince the oils are better today, can i run a leaner oil? and what oil should i use? thanks, <br /><br />nitroboy543

    Running a 7.5 in a pail tips..?

    when i run my 1955 evinrude fleetwin 7.5, the watter all gets pusehed out of the pail. do you ahe any good tips for running it with out the water comeing out and exposing the proppeller? thanks! :p

    eska 7.5 engine

    hi, my grandpa had a oldlike 1970's eska 7.5 engine. he used it as a kicker and to power a row boat. we tried to start it, but the carb seems to be gummed up and the reeds stuck. im wondering if anbody has a good way to clean this and if you know aout these motors.. its a single cyl.

    im still running the stock prop on my old 1955 evinrude fleetwin 7.5, i was wondering, since its a 2 cly, and everthing, can i use a 3 blade prop? and if i can or cant, post a link thanks :D

    marvels mystory oil?

    i heard that this stuff is good for cleaning out old engines and stuff, is it safe for my 1955 evinrude fleetwin 7.5? also on my pistons, there are these metal thingemabobs on the top. what are they, i cant realy tell what they are by looking in the spark plug hole.. thanks :)

    i cant get my engien to adjust up or down.?! :confused: the little bar on the tilter thing dosent want to get off the seccond notch. sorrry for my bad vocab, i dont have a manual. its a 1955
