Thank you all for the kind words. to answer Roffey, I do not have original motor. origniallyit was a 1958 johnson 33 and in 1969 my father put on a johnson 55 that was always a troublesome motor. and it junked it.. I will be sure to post pictures when its completed.

I am restoring an antique boat that used to have 55 hp 15" shaft motor. to stay in the 50 to 60 hp range, i only find 20" shafts. as this is an old and rare boat there is no hull markings about anything... so long story. but here is the questions, 1. does anyone have...
