    1964 Johnson 60hp timing ?

    Hello All, today I managed to drop my 1964 Johnson 60hp from the tailgate of my truck and in the process broke the timing belt. I see the timing mark on the flywheel, but I don't see anything on the magneto to set the timing with. Please help!

    Exhaust bubbling out the lower unit

    Hello All, I just started my 1968 40hp Evinrude Big Twin for the first time and I have a problem of no water spitting out the exhaust and exhaust bubbling out the lower unit. I have replaced the water pump and thermostat. Maybe a bad head gasket or worse. What do you think? Thanks in advance

    Short to Long Shaft

    Howdy All, I have a 1968 Evinrude Bid Twin 40hp short shaft motor that I would like to convert to a long shaft. I figure all I need is the longer drive shaft, shift linkage, water tube and the extension plate for the lower unit. Is there anything else that I am forgetting? Thanksd:)
