    2004 40hp Tohatsu electric start(or not as the case may be) my fishfinder(lowrance x-125)says the battery voltage is 12.4volts but when i turn the key theres nothing happening the choke clicks but nothing on the next turn then i have to pull start it.any suggestions would be helpfull thanks for...

    this might sound like a basic question but i'm not to clued up about outboards.I have a 40 hp tohatsu electric start 2004 does this unit charge my battery while running.can't find anything in the manual about it ?????? thanks
