I ordered a new Solas Amita prop for my suzuki df25 four stroke (2002) and when I took off the old one (prop only) not the thrust bushing the prop would not go on the shaft far enough to install the spacer and the nut. has anyone had this happen to them. According to the web site at GETAPROP...
I have a 14ft carolina skiff with a 2002 suzuki 25hp w/remote steering.
I have to run at 5000rpm's to keep on plane. Max rpm's for this engine is 5500to 5600 according to the manufacturer. Is running at 5000rpm's constantly bad for the enging.

I have a 2002 25hp 4 stroke on a 14ft. carolina skiff (510lbs dry weight) and at full throttle with 2 adults it goes approx. 20mph. Is this normal, or should the boat go faster than 20mph.
