What size belt goes to the alternator on a 2005 3.0 mercruiser? I have 3/8 x 40 stick in my head but wanted to be sure before i ordered one over the internet. I tried to pick one up this afternoon at advanced auto and the smallest they had was 46".

Went out this evening and while coming back in (running about 4200rpms) I noticed the temp gauge was wandering up to around 200. I backed off the throttle to around 3000rpms and the temp returned to 170?ish, but would still move back and forth towards to 200 (but would mostly stay around 170)...
What size screws should I use to install flush mount rod holders? I picked up some #14 SS self taping marine screws, but after drilling the pilot hole I'm afraid of cracking the glass. If memory serves me correct I used a 3/16 bit as the pilot hole.
