Good idea - i should have thought of that .
Bet I can find some small fittings in the plumbing dept. @ lowes depot .
Plus I only have a tiny air compressor .
OK on the using air to push out impeller debris .
NOT - taking powerhead off ,, if air doesn't work I'll drop the drive unit .
I'll be changing the impeller every 2 years from here on out - that's for sure .

Not the lower - I meant the drive unit - the whole shabang off the bottom of the engine .
Already pulled and replaced impeller - no water due to clog.
Compressed air at pisser exit port ? OK idea or no ?
I hardly ever used the 2.5 , also have a 6hp , yes impeller fins are gone .

I have an 98' 8hp 2cycle that doesn't seem to want to pump fuel to the carb very well ,i changed the diaphram gaskets and it worked better for a short while -but now not pumping very well.
Also it seems to flood and wet the plugs easily ,i friend and...
