Looking at a 1972 Gibson 36' houseboat with Chrysler 318 and a paragon trans anybody know what out-drive might be attached to this and if any parts might still be available?:frusty:

I have these canisters look like some sort of filter attached to each motor with lines ruining to the water cooling system on each motor. I assume they are for flushing out the seawater. Anybody have them on there motors? How do they work? And or what are they for. Only writing on canister is...
Starter makes loud grinding sound but does not turn engine over. Engine will turn over by hand. Has anybody ever taken a starter out of a 1980 Sea Ray 270 Sedan Bridge. Starboard engine 350 mer cruiser. And can they tell me if you have to take off exhaust manifold to get to it.:(
I have a 1980 Sea Ray Sedan Bridge w/twin v8s that I am rehabbing this winter. I just noticed today that it has two right hand props. Should it not have a right hand and a left hand prop so that it would have counter rotating props?
