hooked up new tach on merc 90 hp inline 6..1979..w/ green wire at coil ground as directed by instructions..no sign of tach wanting to work..also set tach for 6 cylinder as directed..
any ideas??
ps red is to power/ black to ground/ white is for tach lite..(connected to power source and light...
