Has anyone found a cure for the Ethanol problem? I do not live in the South so I cannot run motor during winter. There is no place to buy plain gas unless you want to buy racingfuel (200 octane)
I have a 78 merc 302 w2ith an I drive. Last weekend I was out and noticed that when I shift into forward and push on the gas the motor revs up but the boat does not pickup speed. Reverse seems to run fine. Any thoughts? Checked both microswitches and they appear to be working fine.
