    over heating

    Have a 140hp OMC I/O, 1981 Stern Drive. Getting ready for season, changed oil, turned over no problem, than few minutes later the temperature got really hot. Turn engine off. Replaced the thermastat, tried again, still temperature was rising. Turned off. Thinking is it in the Stern Drive...

    over heating engine

    We have a 1981 140HP OMC I/O 4-cylinder. Stern Drive. Problem: getting it ready for the season, changed oil, turn the engine over, started no problem, but after few minutes started over heating, really hot. Thought it could be the thermastate, so replaced. Still overheating. No water getting up...
