Boat giving me little issues this year, but running great once started :)
Water temp Gauge worked last year.
But not this year. MID 95 5.7 mercruiser
Any ideas where to check?
I grounded out where it connects to engine. Gauge pegged out and went back to zero ?

I push throttle open all the way. Then push to1/4 and start cranking. Then I will pump few times and try again. Rare occasion it starts. Give a squirt of starting fluid to carb and starts up. From then on, just click of the key and it starts. Seems cold blooded at first.

My 5.7 mercruiser, probably mid 90's year I think. Hard to start if sits a week, Have to use starter fluid of gas in carb to get to start. Once started, will start with turn of key all day or for a day or two. But let it sit a week or so. And same process over again.

I have mid 80's to mid 90's 5.7 mercruiser. It has started hesitating 3-5 seconds when I shift to nuetral. I tried working the neutral interrupter switch back and forth.
Seemed to help slightly. Should I lube it with silicone or wd 40 or replace it ?
Shifts to forward or reverse fine...
2005 Tahoe Q6 5.0
Tahoe boats porpoise bad. installed smart tabs and helped some. I have 19 pitch 3 blade prop. Would a 4 blade prop help porpoising at all or just better holeshot(boat has great holeshot already)
2005 tahoe q6 5.0 blower motor wont turn on. Had off few months ago, but kept messing with wires at toggle switch and started working again. Having same issue. Was running and just quit. Messed with wires, but can't get to come on.

Installed 80 lb(correct per chart) smart tabs on my 2005 Tahoe Q6 5.0 engine. Set at factory #3 hole setting. Seemed to help low speed wandering. I could not trim at all before in choppy water without porpoising .. Now i can only trim little with out porpoising on small waves and still reel...
my boat is bear to put on trailer, especially to crank eye up over roller as is now.....not seen trailer configured this way...had boat 7 years, but now decided to do something to make it easy.
also i would like to make boat even with board runners at back...from pics you can see how runners...
