I have never seen or heard of nylon washers but keep reading post with it in it. I checked my gear oil in the leg of my evinrude 140 but it was just a screw top and bottom hole(no washer). I put my boat at the marina (stays in lake) I hope I didn't need to buy washers when I check gear...
This engine has 30 hours on it rebuilt... Was told to mix 500 ml oil to 20L gas. I have bin mixing 50:1 is this about the same or what is recomended?!?

Just bought an evinrude 140 (1984) rebuilt. On the way transferring it it was on its side in box of truck(no leaks) I put in my shop overnight. When I came out in morning there was a black oil leaking out from the prop area!?! What does this mean?? Is that from being on side or is that bad...
