83" 2.5L 120hp mercruiser with points. I'm thinking maybe ignition switch but really unsure. Just started doing this and has been fine so far this season. Thanks for any help u can give.

WOT 5000 @43MPH I don't like revving that high and seems to me it gets to 4600 rpm real fast and starts climbing in rpms from there.
as far as boat load i would say its a little over...
The boat in question has a 1988 5.7 mercruiser in/out. Was started for 10 seconds out of water. Now i know how bad it is for an outboard to be started out of water, i'm just not sure if it's the same thing with an in/out?
