How hard is it to change the ign switch in the control box on an 1977 175 merc? can you get a switch that all you have to do is match the wires and connect?
I have an older steel fuel tank and the pick up tube fitting is welded to the tank.the pick up tube is missing inside tank.Can I use where the pick up tube was for a vent and use a 5/8 piece of hose with a black pipe coupling clamped in it and and a nipple threaded into coupling and the hose...
I have a 1977 175 and the trim is slow to go up and goes down as soon as you let go of the up button.Changed one of the lift cylinders cleaned the valve assembly.Pump spins fine up and down.Seams to be no loss of oil.On board pump and res.what can be my problem??
