OK, I am just about ready to take my boat into a shop to see if they can solve my problem, but due to the boating season backlog and my own desire to fix the issue myself I wanted to post my problem to see if the online boating community could help me out.

I found a replacement fuel pump for my OMC 5.7L engine (in a 1989 Reinell) and it arrived today (they forgot to include the mounting gasket). I see that the fuel inlet and outlet openings are in a different spot than the stock fuel pump so now I need to buy some new fuel lines and rerun them...
