    I have a 20hp Johnson outboard. It lost 90% of the thrust while pulling under strain.What do I look for.?

    I lost 90% of the thrust to the motor, while pulling kids on a knee board. The rpms went way up.I checked the shearing pin,its fine....67 johnson I am hoping its nothing major,,help...
