    Set up, Motor height. How high can I go

    Hi, I put a new motor on this year '98 70 hp Johnson on my '92 Teacker tx17. I am not sure how high I can go with the motor height (no water pressure gauge) I took a picture with a square lined up along the bottom of the boat to show where the prop is. Suggestions ?

    What speed to expect from boat motor

    will my tach from 2cyl work with 3 cyl

    Hi (posted in another part of iboats too) I just changed my 92 40 hp 2 cyl Johnson to a '98 3 cyl 70 hp Johnson. Took boat out today for a test run and was amazed at the speed :-) ('92 Bass tracker tx 17) Will my tach be reading properly with the change to my new (old) 3 cyl ? Thanks

    1982 Bass Tracker TX 17 with 40 hp Johnson 2 cyl (CMC tilt plate as motor has no t/t) I would like to put a 1996 70hp Johnson on the boat 3 cyl (meets the boats ratings). I was wondering if this was a problem with the controls ? Jamie
