I plan to reroute to a separate ignition for my boat. Do anyone have a schematic for 6 cylinder Mercontrol. The Electrial poration of the Control unit. If so let me know.

I was wondering if I can sand down the Nickel trim on my boat and Spray paint them. When I say trim , I meant all the accessories that has a nickel coating.
I could do a test sample on a piece of nickel but though it would be great if someone on iboats had any experience on this matter...
