I have a 1999 Johnson 50 hp, and this model has dual carbs. I recently converted my fuel pump from the VRO to a regular block pump. When I ran my boat the other day it sounded as if the carbs weren't getting enough gas or maybe to much gas. Do I have to recalibrate my carbs after doing this...
My 1999 Johnson 50 hp will only run at full speed when I pump the primer. If I dont pump, it will bog out. It runs fine at idle, and at low speed. I checked the fuel pump and everything still looks brand new. I was looking at the filter when the engine was on at my house and the filter barley...
I have a 1999 Johnson 50 hp electric start engine that is only running on one cylinder. I have changed the power pack, ignition coil, stator, spark plugs, and have disconected the little tan wire (slow mode), and still have the problem. Can someone please help?:confused:
