OK...just removed the carb and dismanteled it. I cannot find a place local to me that sales carb cleaning solution.... is there anything I can use instead?.....
Just had my mariner 25 serviced, carb clean etc... First time I took it out it ran beautifully. However, the second time the idle was very rough and at low idle the engine cuts out. Just had it running in garage, same problems and also the water in the bucket became very oily and dirty. Also...
Help!...I have just inherited a 1992 2 cylinder 25hp Mariner outboard. Can someone tell me what oil/gas ratio I should use and tips on cleaning the engine after using it in salt water. Infact any tips atal would be helpful because I realy dont have a clue! parryboy@yahoo.com
