hello, i have been reading about tach installs for my 87 v4 88spl on the forum and found on my control box below the key switch a black rubber "plug" about an inch long , that has amp written on it . could this be where the tach plugs in. there is a gray wire coming from the engine i assume that...
i have a johnson TJ60TLENE, my boat has no movement above 2000 rpm in F but works fine in R , i'm able to place the gear shifter in any gear except for N and hand turn the prop , and it will turn the engine . could i do this if it had a spun prop ? hope this is clear enough
i have a 1992 johnson 60 vro pro series the problem is its charging 16 volts after a couple of hrs running it begins to boil the battery any thoughts voltage regulater maybe?
