    ZINC questions

    Hi, are the zincs on my outboard enough or should I have one on my boat too? It is a 2000 Fisher aluminum used in saltwater. It isn't left in the water and it is stored in a garage as well.     Hello, can I use black fingernail polish to spot touch up a nick on my lower unit? The nick is about the size of a grain of rice. Finger nail polish is enamel, so it is strong stuff and should work right? Thanks in advance.

    Pesky water inlet tube

    I finally got around to changing my inpeller on my 1979 4.5 Mercury. When I assembled it there wasn't any water coming from the telltale. I was like "$#%#$". So when I took the lower unit off again, I realized that I didn't guide the copper inlet tube into the top of the impeller cover. Works...
