The VRO went out on my '90 120 HP Evinrude and resulted in 2 scuffed cylinder walls (2&4). My outboard mechanic friend says we only need to bore the two cylinders. My motorhead brother in-laws said I am nuts if I don't have all 4 bored. Obviously just boring 1 or 2 cylinders can been done...
