Started the motor for the first time this year and no water coming out of the pee hole...
stuck weed eater line through it and it's not blocked (pushed more then 4 feet of it in) also blew it through with air compressor
changed the impeller and housing (complete kit) and re installed and it's...
I have a 00 4hp long shaft motor
i noticed that the complete leg is loose...
also i am unable to lock the motor from rotating
any ideas?
motor runs fine and everything, just noticed that the whole leg is loose and i can't lock motor from rotating

I'm only getting 10mph out of it on a 16.5' aluminum side console fishing boat
i'm getting 5mph out of a 4hp 1 cylinder kicker motor
transom is a longshaft and so are the motors
any ideas?

i picked up the single lever newer style for it...
the old school shifter...
