I have a Jonhson 130 SeaPro outboard engine. Does water remain in the lower unit when it is tilted all the way up and out of the water, using power tilt? If so, is there a danger of water freezing and cracking something? :) Sorry I didn't mention this earlier, but the motor is on my boat...
How should I protect the portion of my motor bracket that remains under the waterline during the boating season? My boat remains in the water all season - I got barnacles on the motor bracket. Can I use the same bottom paint I use for the boat? I use micron extra.
