    I am replacing the charge coil and sensor coil on my 1987 Evinrude 48 SPL. I need help fabricating a tool to place these two parts in the correct location. I know there is a tool you can purchase for this but I think $50 for an aluminum ring is just a little bit silly. The part is 553-4994...
