my trim motor started playing up last time we went out. <br /><br />an intermitant problem going up which sounds like the pump slowly stops . i think it may be the soleniod at the bottom which controls the up/down trim/tilt, which has jammed and when i try to lift the motor it is pumping...
Could anyone let me know how to connect a trim gauge to merc outboard.<br /><br />Does the signal come from the trim/tilt switch at the controls, or is there a seperate signal from the motor :confused:
