BRAVO 2 NOT SHIFTING AFTER STRANGE ELECTRICAL OUTAGE. I HAD A NO START ON BOTH BATTERIES AND TRIM NOT WORKING THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN STARTER WORKED AND TRIM WORKS BUT NOW DRIVE WONT SHIFT INTO GEAR F/ OR REVERSE. MAKES WEIRD NOISE NOW TOO... HAD TO BE TOWED. throttle switch seems to work ok, no...
Had new engine built and now running good but vibration under load at @ 2500 rpm. Boat shakes and vibrates like a bent blade on prop...prop good though. Shop who put engine in says they will adjust accel pump on carb next spring when i can run it under load at lake...does this sound right?
My impeller went while wifey driving boat...overheated engine and stalled- Cranks slow and wheezes but I got it to restart and it ran really rough. 2006 5.7 gm engine w/ bravo2. Can anyone give input on what possible damage happens when inpeller goes out? Are the heads toast?
Fyi to all boat owners with holley carbs- recall going on for bad carbs built in 2005/06. Defective metal in carb flakes off and clogs ports in bowls. Holley will replace for free! Call their tech support line.

got a 06 yamaha vx110 and doesnt have oil filter???? hard to believe but thats what the yami parts dealer said....anybody know if this is really true? if it has one where is it? if it doesnt...is there a way to drain all the oil out and not just pump out the 2 quarts from the tank?
