Lift wouldn't raise the outdrive last time at the lake. Cleaned all connections and it started to work but then quit again. It's about half way up right now. Relays click for both up and down switch position. Checked voltage at the motor leads (2 wire motor), and no voltage with switch in either...
Re: Aq130c carb help
That's the first time that I've seen a fuel pump for an AQ130 with a diaphragm rupture line connection. Wondering where you got that fuel pump and if it's actually for the AQ130C. In any case, the carbs for the AQ 130 don't have fittings for the tube, although some of the...
This season they're looking at a South American mining site. Much different type of gold mining that what they've done the last few seasons.
Was funny seeing Todd pointing at several plastic bags full of dynamite deep inside a gold mine. Great entertainment if you like this sort of thing.
Is...
I know there are several threads about difference between brand but wanted to get some real world experience opinions. From everything I've read, all of the current OSs work well for entertainment and email purposes. But what I'm looking for is something that can perform some office functions...
I've been using Ring Central for my fax line for a few months and have experienced a few problems. I noticed today that there was no connection so started to do some troubleshooting. I could get into the softphone softward but no live info. Finally called customer support and we had to change...
I have doubleclick.net blocked in my IE privacy settings and popup ads are blocked. However, iboats seems to be able to override these settings. This is the only site where this happens. I've run malwarebytes, ad-aware, and windows defender, and they don't show anything. Any recommendations?
For the past few seasons, have gotten a whiff of gas once in awhile, when starting out the day on the lake, usually with a full gas tank. I tow it to the lake uncovered and it's about an hour trip, so that should have taken care of any fumes from sitting with the cover on. Getting it ready for...
Re: 280 outdrive lift slowing down
I've allready ordered the brush kit, but thanks.
Snow on the ground??? We can see snow up on top of the mountains, but it's getting up to 70 in the daytime here in the Willamette Valley!
I grew up south of you near the Quad Cities in Iowa and had relatives...
Noticed last fall that the lift motor was really slowing down once the foot actually contacted the outdrive. It's been a gradual decrease. Yesterday, after de-winterizing, noticed that the amount of current it was drawing, actually slowed the engine down.
I'll go ahead and clean all...
Now that we can't buy rough service bulbs, what do we do about droplights? In the past, I've bought rough service bulbs that have a protective coating to protect the glass from shattering and going all over the place when they break. The compact fluorescent bulbs don't have that and i'm hearing...
Re: Need help with volvo 130D. Water in oil and thermostat question.
You'll need to have a thermostat in that engine. The way the water flow works, it'll just short circuit without one. You won't like the price but it is what it is!
AQ130D w/ AQ280 outdrive. While headed back in last weekend, I noticed that the engine would all of a sudden rev up a few hundred RPM and then go back to our cruise RPM of about 4200. In the course of 10 minutes, it did this two or three times. The wind coming up the canyon at our backs was...
Re: oil in bellows on penta 270
Travisherl, Here's a schematic of the gearbox:
Many people are referring to the o-ring shown as Ref #24. That o-ring is installed into a grove on a thick washer (Ref# 23). Sometimes that o-ring will deteriorate and cause a leak.
edit; thought I'd add a liittle...
